What a charming cookbook for the commoner. I love to cook, but I'm really tired of fancy-smancy recipes that I'd only make for company. This cookbook is down to earth, and very comfortable to use. It also has an excellent selection of choices.

I was extremely pleased with the contents of this cookbook. I have been searching for some time for this type of authentic recipe collection. Unfortunately, most books on the market deal with more "fusion" or "trendy updated" recipes, that are a far cry from the real day to day ethnic cooking. I am not Greek, but I have spent years enjoying the food from Milwaukee, WI and Chicago IL, where there are large Greek communities. Now living in East Texas, I have to rely on my own ability to create the dishes my husband and I have grown to love. The "Greek church-ladies" have provided wonderful and authentic recipes that I am proud to serve to my friends and family. Thank you so much!
