3 cups sugar
4 cinnamon sticks
2 cups boiled water
6 Tbs yeast
6 cups warm water
4 eggs
½ tsp
sea salt
5-7 pounds flour
½ cup corn oil
3 sticks unsalted butter
Take two cups water boil with cinnamon until 1 cup is left. Add another 6 cups warm water. Put in mixing bowl and add yeast and then add salt. Add 3-4 cups flour. Put aside.
Place butter (softened), oil, sugar in bowl and beat. Add eggs one at a time and beat for 5 minutes. Add mixture to yeast mixture. Blend to make soft dough. Cover with towels and let rise. Approximately ½ to 1 hour cut in 5 pieces and put in round 10” baking pans. Let rise again in pans. Then brush with egg yolks.
Bake dough at 325 for 40-45 minutes. Wash with water and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top.
